HOTFOIL TYPE HB & GA HEATERS

THE HOTFOIL TYPE “HB” HEATING PANELS ARE USED FOR BAGHOUSE HOPPERS AND PRECIPITATOR HOPPERS

The “HB” Modules are used to maintain the temperature on hoppers so that condensation does not build and cause the flyash inside the hopper to become moist which intern causes blockages.

Typically designed to maintain hopper temperatures around 300 °F (150 °C), but in some instances as low as 180 °F (82 °C) and as high as 400 °F (205 °C). Either way, the “HB” can handle it.

Has a flexible face to contour to the hopper wall and an aluminum back to maintain its form. Easily installed by using studs and aluminum mounting channel that is provided.

THE HOTFOIL TYPE “GA” HEATING BLANKETS ARE USED FOR CONICAL BAGHOUSE HOPPERS AND PRECIPITATOR HOPPERS AS WELL AS SDA HOPPERS

The “GA” Blankets are also used to maintain the temperature on hoppers so that condensation does not build and cause the flyash inside the hopper to become moist which intern causes blockages.

They have been and are used for the same range of maintenance temperatures as the “HB” Modules. “GA” Blankets are extremely flexible and wrap around conical hoppers and oddly shaped protrusions. Installation is simple using insulation pins and glass tying tape.
